My Introduction -Part 3
Dear Reader,
Hiii, I hope my previous post did make you a little more curious as to what would have happened next? Are you wondering why would someone like that take this kind of a risk? How can this girl be so courageous?
I should go back and tell you a few instances that had worked wonders on my confidence. When I shifted from Air Force School to this small Hindi medium school I did not understand much of Maths and my Maths teacher Sh. Hukum Singh ji, in this small school had so much belief in my abilities that motivated me to be better and perform well and atleast give my best efforts in it. That belief which he had in me, made me top in Mathematics in 10th Board exams was one of the first few instances that have made an everlasting impact on me.
While I was still in my 7th grade, our PTI sir, Mr. Narendra Gehlot sir encouraged us to take up some or the other sport and he himself was a state level player of Basketball. I spoke at home and my parents were more than happy that both sisters wanted to take up basket ball with our education that meant going to a different school to avail the basic facilities like a basket ball court and related infrastructure!
His dedication towards doing his best to teach the sport was very contagious and made me push harder to be better. You know I realised if you feel someone cares for your progress and learning, you tend to outdo yourself every single time! And I did, played district level in under 14 and again in under 16 was almost selected in the state level team as well.
This taught me to be responsible, believe in my abilities and be hard working to achieve anything in this world and I chose to take on some journey I myself wasn’t aware of but was willing to take that chance and learn from one of the best Institutes in India for B.Arch program. I am feeling very nostalgic about this story here and I am right now confused should I just reach the college or cover a bit of train travel also for you?
Do help me here.
This train travel was important as this was the very first time I travelled all alone with my father who had extremely been busy all these years as he is a Gynaecologist who is most of the time on his duty and on other occasions he was on call duties working in a government hospital at Bikaner!
Do let me know if you want to hear a bit of the travel also.
